HELP, Tires
Geeeeeese: I cant figure it out, In the late 70s I managed a tire store Sam Winston, Winston's Tires in California. Winston tires were made by Firestone and other major Tire companies. Now I want to put new white letter tires on my 69 coupe, It has 225 60/15s it handles and drives great, The car rides very smooth for a 41 year old thinking about going to 70s, but I know i will lose the cornering and get that rollover feeling of the taller tire and loose some tire on the ground also. The car is all stock, the front tire and fender wells look good space wise, upper tire and finder, The rear not so good the tire does not fill the finder well as good as the front. Hate to waste 500+ on tires and be disappointed, I'm sure that the 70s will give me a slightly better ride. To help me in my cant figure it out, decide situation. Pics of stock 69s or 68s of rally wheeled 60s and 70s tire combinations will be very appreciated if you 69ers have the time. Many thanks.

I would put on correct tires and set the ride height to the stock or lower settings to fill the fenders. Do not compromise on your tires.
