On my '77 it has only one multi wire plug that powers lights and gauges on center bezel. There is also a seperate two wire connector that powers the A/C control light at top of bezel but this is not part of the flexible circuit board. mike...
I just replaced the center cluster circuit board in my 1979. When completed it restored ALL dash lights including the speedo and tach. So in answer to your question, no, it is not just for the lights in the center bezel.

The four center gauges and clock are also on that printed circuit board. This include the engine temperature, fuel, Amp. and oil pressure gauges. Also the fasten seat belt and the low fuel/gen. warning lights.

Guess that's why my Oil Presure is not working then... one of the cooper lines is burnt in too..
