I feel sure that you can still get the cylinder out. You'll have to pick each tumbler as it comes out, but I think it's do-able. If not, then you'll have to drill out the center of the cylinder to remove it.

I think your right Ernie,one tumbler at a time. I know I have removed them without a key and I dont remember drilling them.
