Disconnect the battery. Get a small 5/16 combination end wrench and a small 1/4 drive ratchet with a 5/16 socket. Open the door, lay on your back with flashlight in mouth, remove the two sheet metal screws at the ends of the switch (much easier to write this than to do it) lower the switch, compress the plastic lock tabs to remove the harness connector and voila, your done. Don't move the ignition cylinder out of the "locked" position. Look at the underside of your switch and note the position of the hole in the slide. That hole accepts the ignition slide rod laying atop the column. That rod is actuated by the lock cylinder. Some folks will remove the drivers seat to make this somewhat less uncomfortable. I hope your arms are only 12 inches long, as this will facilitate matters.
Edit: It might take a 1/4 end wrench and socket, am not 100% sure now that I've written this!! Oh, and forgot to mention the radio noise suppressor condensor will be held in place by one of the little darling screws. Don't forget to put it back!!
