I changed out my cap and rotor and I switched two plugs around not sure which ones but need to know the order on the distributor. Cause its obviously wrong when I start up the car.

Are you going in a clockwise direction while looking down on top of dist.? Cylinders 1357 are on drivers side, 2468 on pass. side, from front of engine to back. mike...
I am glad your car is running. I am posting this for anyone else that may need the information searching in the future.
Finding #1 Wire on the Distributor Cap
The compression stroke of the #1 cylinder is where the firing order begins. To determine that, you would need to remove the #1 spark plug, hold your finger over the hole, and tap the engine over slowly until the pressure pushes your finger (it won't hurt), and the timing mark should be nearing TDC. At that point is where the #1 plug wire on the distributor cap should line up with the terminal that the rotor is pointing to You will need to remove the distributor cap to look.
But, from your story, I'm assuming that the engine ran fine with the plug wires where they are on the distributor cap, and the wires just got crossed at the plugs? Then there is an easier way. Take a timing light (hope you have one), and attach it to one of the plug wires on the left bank (1-3-5-7). Have someone crank the engine over and you point the timing light at the timing tab by the harmonic balancer. The #1 plug wire will make the timing mark visible on the balancer. Now that you know which one is your #1 plug wire, you can follow the timing diagram clockwise around the distributor cap to check the rest of them.
