Cam Information Needed

I am planning on going to a roller cam in my 350 that I am going to change to a stroker 383. I am using a 4 bolt main block that is from the early 70's. I have been told I am going to need to use a cam button and spring and maybe a different timing cover. Is this correct? Is there anything else I am going to need to do in order to use a roller cam?

Put a retro fit roller in and changed cover and put the button in--had to change push rods to shorter ones.

i used a roller type cam button, and a reinforced timing cover by canton racing products.
got it all at summitracing. it will have to be a reto-fit type roller cam.
