You definitely want to get that rubber shifter bood installed before summer. It seals the tranny tunnel so that hot engine air doesn't find it's way through the shfter cutout and into the car's interior.

Mine had a large tear in it when I bought the car. Replaced it when I re-worked my interior. Noticeable temperature improvement and greatly reduced exhaust smell inside when idling!! No more "gas chamber" effect!! :crazy: :eek: :crazy:
