I sent him a couple of e-mails early last week and he has not replied as of yet. Its not like him no to reply. I hope he is just really busy and that it is nothing serious.

I finally met him and had lunch with him and his family (for about 2 hours) last Friday in Beaver Creek, Colorado. He says he averages 14 carburators a week from enthusiasts that are sent to him for rebuilding (just by word of mouth!) Between his other job, repairing his Vette, rebuilding carburators, and working out of that other performance shop, I don't know where the guy can find time to sleep.

He said that he hasn't been hanging out on the C3 forum much lately.

I really enjoyed meeting him. Next time, I am going to take additional time in Colorado to visit with him.

We did enjoy a couple Michael Shea's Irish Amber beers.

Same here. I emailed him Saturday and haven't heard back yet.....

Hopefully he is in St. Thomas cooling out!!!

I hear you on that one! I always feel like I have no time and I never get anything done! Lars, on the other hand, seems to always have time to help folks out, not to mention rebuild carbs, cars, work, sleep, family, beer...

Stew, I talked to him on friday and he mentioned he was going to be out of town all weekend, so maybe that's why he hasn't gotten to you.

He said he was taking a 3day weekend with the Mrs's over this last weekend when I last e-mailed him, after all if anybody needs some time away from us it was probably him :lol:
