Took the vette in today to get it realigned - I had noticed that all the shims had fallen out of the drivers side - ALL OF THEM - So I make a 12 noon appointment to have shims installed and the alignment reset - max of an hour I figured.
3.25 hours later I left. Yes the shims installed and alignment done and them telling me that a leaky control valve is giving me bump steer....
Wait...WTF...bump steer because of a leaky control valve?
I'm no suspension guru, but I'm pretty darned sure thats utter
So tell me I'm wrong, otherwise I'm looking for a new alignment shop. BTW they were the ones who had installed the shims that had fallen out.

I had my 69 aligned at a small shop in Encinitas. Older guy, newer equipment, and familier with older vetts. Pm me for an address if your still looking.
I think I'd get some wrenches and make sure everything is tight
That is why I do all my own work, including alignments, and also use black RTV rubber to glue the shims in place so even IF the bolt works loose, the shim pack stays in place, so all I have to do is retighten...just a dap over the top of them and down to the frame, done deal....
