Default Brodix Heads - Temp Sensor??

I just purchased a pair of Brodix IK180 heads. Any thoughts on how to hook up the temp sensor since there is no provision in the heads?

I have a Edelbrock 2101 Intake.

your only option is the hole in the intake on front.

That's what I had to do with my Brodix heads. I have the RPM Q-Jet intake.

Anyone know if the stock sensor will fit in the Edelbrock 2101? If not, what size do I need?

Not sure but you can get plumbing adapters that will work.

Same issue with AFR heads. Had to use the intake. Yes to what Grumpy said. Try and see if your original will fit , if not an adapter will be needed.

Exactly what I did ....

On my AFR's I used an adapter to mount the OEM switch in the head, and use the same wire that it always had going to it. For the two switches that turn on the SPAL fans individually, I used intake manifold locations for both.

Does it matter what side of the intake the sensor is mounted?

Did this on my IK200's
Or you can take the head to a shop and have it done if you don't have the tools to do it.

Where does the hole get drilled? Is there a drawing that I could give to a machine shop?

Select the head that will be on the driver side. Check out the machined surface for the exhaust manifold, and note that between ports 1 and 3 there is a half-round area cast into the head, and machined off on the surface like the surrounding area. That is where you drill & tap. Make sure whatever headers you use will clear(shouldn't be a problem, but check anyway)
