On my AFR's I used an adapter to mount the OEM switch in the head, and use the same wire that it always had going to it. For the two switches that turn on the SPAL fans individually, I used intake manifold locations for both.

Where does the hole get drilled? Is there a drawing that I could give to a machine shop?
Select the head that will be on the driver side. Check out the machined surface for the exhaust manifold, and note that between ports 1 and 3 there is a half-round area cast into the head, and machined off on the surface like the surrounding area. That is where you drill & tap. Make sure whatever headers you use will clear(shouldn't be a problem, but check anyway)
