hi, i have got a small leak from my stock auto tranny, it appears to be coming from the shift/ign lock bracket area.
i read somewhere that it's a 'o'ring behind there, is this true? or is it a special seal?
anybody know what size it might be before i pull it apart?
also the size of any other 'o'rings needed ie; dip stick tube, speedo sender etc.
i'm surrounded by 'o'rings all day at work, so if i can get a heads up on the sizes that i should grab, that would be great...
is it an easy fix, or do i have to drop the pan?
karnt find much info on the web on home rebuilding these boxes.
ok, so it's a lip seal then.
can it be removed without dismantling the whole box?
you say a tool is available, any links to a photo?
is there room for two seals then?
