Whats this Plug?? Please Help.

Whats this Plug?? Please Help.
I was looking under the dash to see why no ingnition lights come on when I turn the key to the ignition setting.
Found this wire dangling. Does anyone know what it connects to?
The plug is original, but the wiring has been changed (I think) when the car was converted to RHD.

Not sure of the year of your car and my head is spinning from the angle but that looks like the wiper override switch wire due to the colors of the wires. The switch would be between the headlight and wiper door override vacuum switches.
