My vette was in garage fr last 2 weeks. When I started it today (it was 25 degrees outside today), it starts right away (even faster than my brand new Jaguar).
Anyway..I drove it to autozone (5 minutes drive)...when I come back to the car ans try to start it it doesn't want to. I have crank it for 10-15 seconds for it to start.
When I drive it for more than 20minutes (completely warmed up), its starts fine.
Any ideas.

ps. Carb, dizzy, wires, plugs (and everything else related), is brand new with less than 100 miles.
When I try to start it without pumping gas it just wont start at all (even after numerous attempts), When I pump the pedal it starts but only after few tries.

a carb rebuild and proper setup will solve these problems. on cold starts, i step on the pedal once to set the choke and crank away. restarts usually don't require any gas, or maybe hold the pedal down halfways. if you ever flood it, hold the pedal to the metal, crank away and don't let up till it starts. Mine was set up by the Lars method. Get his papers.
if you have to pump the gas to get a warm start, the choke is probably set too lean. try setting the choke so that it's just barely open when the engine is hot. then open it more in small increments until it seems ok to you.
Carb is brand new, and setup according to Lars papers.
I was just messing with choke few weeks ago to adjust it for cold starts and I think that I might push it too far.
