car that a drive 2000 miles a year have a new 50th on order and do not want todrive it to work or ball games
all the time because to buy that it will bend budget and have someone mess it up so do i fix up the 78 or
sell it and use it for my daily driver or drive one or the outher thank you for your time and advice
Paul,
I guess it really depends on how much you want to have a vette as a driver. If it won't bother you too much, and you can get back as much as you have in the 78, then you may want to sell it and get a cheap beater for a driver. You could always drive the 76 or 50th on the nice days.
BTW, are you asking about having just a summer driver, or a winter driver also? I don't think I would want a vette as a winter driver.
Hope all is well for you and Bev. Tell the club I said hi and I hope to see them again for the Corvette Caravan next year.
Only $1,500. in repairs!! I'd say you did pretty well at the auction. That's nothing on these cars as you ought to know by now. Heck, by the time you get a good set of brakes, rotors and lines on it... you'll be half way home! I say keep it... fix it up... and drive the $%#@ out of it.
