How much HP do you think the engine would need to make to put 650HP to the rear wheels in our C3's ?
After looking at your post again I realized maybe, since it's not all that much of a price difference, you should consider stroking that LS3 to a 434 but not forging the setup... Which would save money. You could easily attain 600 rwhp and if you set the tranny up right get great gas mileage. Sweet project you got going...might as well go a little out there since everythings all out anyway. The problem with some of us is that we can't stop....that was my problem and at 840 rwhp....it's not reliable. Hope you can control the urge better than guys like me.

Right now I squeeze 18 mpg out of a built 350 with a .64OD. I rebuilt a stock LS2 bottom end with L92 heads and a cam swap. That bad larry put 570hp on the dyno on 87 octaine. I fell really good about seeing 25mpg highway. Just depends on the rear gear you choose and transmission.
