Default silly question

Which way does the fuel filter go in the Qjet? I assume the rubber end with the hole goes away from the carb, it looks like it would block flow the other way. Or does it say and I need to put my glasses on? I pulled it out and didn't pay any attention.....

Default fuel filter

Paper filter with the rubber plunger, rubber plunger goes towards the inlet fuel line, when you screw the line back into the carb Be very care-full when screwing the fuel line in it is very easy to cross thread, screw it in by hand 4 or 5 threads before using a wrench also you should use a line wrench, have fun.
