Good luck with the sale, beautiful car. Don’t know how you could sell that thing.
Would you mind telling me whose hood pins you used? Also would love to know if the Corbeau A4’s make you sit any taller than stock. Thanks and love the car!

Bill I had the Corbeau A-4 drivers seat shaved 1 inch so I believe it is close. I can get the vender if you like. I forget the brand of hood pin, I believe it is 1/2 inch. As far as selling it, it took a little longer than I thought but everything (most) is for sale. The wx has been crappy so I have not driven it much

The wx cleared and the debris is off the roads so I went on a 20 mile fun drive. I-95 and winding roads this car is fun to drive. Besides the looks and thumbs up this old guy enjoyed having an enormous amount of power and handling under my control.

Kevin,
I just took the time to get caught up on your Project. Wow that dash looks incredible in the car, I love it. Looks very vintage race, but still modern and finished. Incredible job. I can't believe you are going to sell it after all that work! But I do respect your desire to chase the next project. I will be watching the sale thread closely, someone is going to get very lucky. What are you thinking about for the next project?
Semper Fi,
Bob

Bob thanks for your compliments, I am not sure what the next project will be as I am not as young as you are. Your project is starting to take some great leaps and bounds since I saw it last here in Quantico. I really enjoy your posts since I saw what you started with. As you and I know it is tuff to find the time to work on the project when the Marine Corps has a different plan for your time. Keep up the great work and if you know someone who might be interested in a street beast send them my way. All good offers welcomed.

Spring day so off I went for a 40 mile drive. It was the first time I sat in traffic but the water temp stayed steady at 210 degrees and oil temp never went past 170 degrees and that was when I was idling for about 5 minutes then stopped and go for several miles in town. Otherwise the oil temp stayed at 140 degrees. I just laugh when I hear there are cars with 700 plus HP. With 618hp and all this torque in a 3200 lb car it is a beast. Trying to see if the local airport will give us sometime for some high speed runs. Trying to get a video up on line, I need my daughters help.
