After a few delays I installed my TKO 600 from American Powertrain. I want add that their customer service is first rate. On Friday I noticed I had the wrong flywheel bolts so I called and they overnighted the correct bolts. On Sunday, I called their hot line to ask a question about the hydraulic throw-out bearing and their rep actually stepped out of church to answer my call, now that is special. I also ordered a box of 1 7/8" pipe along with 3 1/2 to begin to build my headers. I will use Ed's flanges with starter tubes and go from there. I'm looking into building something very similar to the header that is attached. Thanks
Car is ready for primer, TKO 600 trans is finally mounted to the BluePrint Engines LS3 427 and I'm ready to build the headers. Moving fwd and not in a circle.
The build should pick up after Christmas. Here is the FIA light set up I got from Jim at Classic Aircraft and Auto Inc. Merry Christmas
No pictures just taking advantage of the warmer wx and sanded the body primer with 220. Body looks very straight, so 320 then 400 and it looks like the painter would like me to go to 600 as well.
