Gee - it's the same color as the 40th anniversary jobs.
Chevrolet should have spent another 2 minutes on color selection before rolling this one out.
Guess I'll wait for 2004.

I am underwhelmed. But this is the pace car for this year's (2002) Indy 500 race. Pls tell me there will be something entirely different for next year's "50th anniversary" editition. I guess like 78 - you had the pacecar and you had the anniversary edition. Note to Chevy: 50th anniversary is Gold. :) MJ

At the same time, I can see how a gold theme could get pretty ugly if not done right. So, Chevy, be careful!!!

The interior looks great!
The company I work for produces some of the interior hard trim parts in our plant in Owosso Michigan. The color is 'shale'
I agree though, slap a couple stickers on it, increase the price $10,000 or so and some sucker will buy it. :bs :bs :bs :bs :bs :bs

Is it me, or does it look like it has a gold version of the Y2K wheels? Something like the 96 GS and the black version of the ZR1 wheels.

Some show and no go! Should have put the LS6 engine in it and painted it either the white color/red interior of the '53s or two-tone gold/black for the 50th in addition to the fancy decals. Wouldn't get my vote or my $$,$$$s!
