Do you need new parts? A set of reproduction parts, header, top corners and pillars go for about $600 from what I recall. Lower corners are not available.
I just had ONLY the header replaced on my 70 coupe. A very clean donor was found. Labor alone came to 28 hours, about $2K for labor and donor header.
Windshield, another $400+. Weather strips, clips, misc hardware, another $150+.
My pillars, lower corners, #2 mounts were in good condition. This was a relatively minor fix.
Base price I've heard is $2600 assuming the frame doesn't need much. Goes up quickly from there.
Well on my 68 I found a guy selling NOS parts, I got the upper, sides and lowers corners as well as the lower cross piece for 1100 hundred. But that was not the big hit, it was the while I'm this far the body should come off and, and, and damn I got a complete frame off car now!!
I want to add that if you need work on the lower corners there's no way to fix them without either removing the front clip or cutting the hood surround away to gain access to that portion of the birdcage. Now you're in for body work was well.
If the windshield frame is bad, better check the #2 mount, #3 mount and rocker channels. Birdcage repair can quickly become cost prohibitive unless you can to the work yourself.

I replaced the lower corners on my 68 without removeing or cutting the fender. I had NOS corners and all I had to do was bend the outter edge of the corners down and they slided in. After welding them in I bent the outer edge back up. This the edge you see in the door jam, a pain yes but very do able.

If you can find a NOS lower corner this may work though I've never seen it done. Every one I've seen, people either cut away the fiberglass or removed the front clip.
I've looked around for a NOS lower corner when others have indicated a need. Couldn't find any.
I assume you didn't re-rivet the bonding strip to the corner after replacing?
Anyway, birdcage repair can become extremely expensive if you don't do the work yourself.

No I didn't rivet to corner just bonded it not unlike we do with the front header bar. The parts I found were from Pipers Corvette's. And your right it is expensive but very doable.
