77 L-82 Automatic Vibration
On the days that we haven't had snow in NY I have been using my 77 and I just traded my 53 Jaguar XK for a 63 SW Coupe.
But back to my problem, on my 77 automatic, when I am on the highway doing up to 50 MPH all is well. Once I get above 50 (I haven't taken it past 75) I get a humming in the tranny tunnel and a vibration in the tranny tunnel.
Any ideas on what this could be and what to do? I might have to wait to do it, as my garage has no heat and it was below 0 yesterday. I just want to prepare. Is the U joint in that area?
I have the AIM and the 77 GM manual but it doesn't give me any idea on this.
