Default Where to buy?

Anyone know where to buy a 427 internally balanced rotating assembly?
For a 1969 L68 (Hydraulic lifters), I know the lifters are not part of the assy, but I don't know if there are any differences in the rotating assy between the L68 and L71. I know the block is different.

Are you looking for any 427 internal balaced rotating assembly or an original assembly from a L68?

Alright, Forged or Cast assembly? So essentially a 427 rotating assembly? Here is one I found on the Forum I dont know if it's still available- http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...-assembly.html

Forged or cast, a good question, thats why I was looking to see who sells so I could compare options and prices. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

Roger,

Yeah No problem for the link, I can tell you for small block forged vs cast assemblies. Cast is about $1000 while forged is closer to $2000. I cant seem to find any 427 kits, but If you want to make it a 454 or another stroker, those are available. You could piece together/find a kit of original parts, or maybe this would work if you want a 427 final CI - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SBC-C...Q5fAccessories

Thanks Will! Wheelers website is exactly the place I need to be. Once I pull my motor and see what I'm up against, I'll have a much better idea of what I need to do. Below is the kit you led me too, looks good at a decent price.
Thanks again, Rog.

Roger,

You're welcome, I'm glad that I could help you out! That is a good price for that kit. I'm looking to build an engine sometime soon, so I'm in a similar situation as you are.
