Converting SB to BB

I think i'm going to get the BB for free(needs a rebuid, motor is locked up). If the motor checks out ok, i want to put it my 77.

I have a maual 4 speed.

What am I looking at replacing to put this BB in place of my SB. I know i'll need different motor mounts, but what about the clutch? Will the clutch linkage alignment still be ok.

Well you are going to need to change to coil spring to a higher rate. Otherwise your going to risk rubbing your tires on the wheel wells.

Been done a lot....... clutch linkage setup is OK; flywheel is different (454 is externally balanced); need to use 11" clutch; mounts are OK; you need the 69-74 BB Corvette pulley setup, along with the short-neck water pump. Good luck.
