car on jackstand question??
all 4 wheels off and will be for long time....car undergoing restoration as money permits.....better to let suspension hang free or put some kind of load on springs (additional jacks etc.) thanks.

Drivetrian out and body off yet? If not, leave it on wheels until you do these steps since it is way easier if the chassis can roll. In fact, leave it mobile until you are ready to "do" the frame and suspension... keeps all the parts in one place and impossible to lose.

In that case, I would put wheels on the front and put the front on the ground and leave the rear on jack stands.
