I've got one stud on my left rear with messed up threads. I've tried running a die over it but know I just strip the lug nuts before hitting any decent torque. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to replace the studs without removing removing a bunch of stuff (spindle) ??

It is not easy
As you know there is a lot of :U in the way. First you must disasemble the E-break on that side then rotate the spindel to the hole in the back flange, hopefully it is big enough to let the head of the studout the back if not then you either have to drill it bigger or remove the spindle. then take an old lug nut and pound it out.
To replace it just start the new stud from the back and use the nut as a puller to pull it tight.
Just a sugestion for the cost of it you may as well replace all the studs now that you have all this apart.
