I'm looking at a 77 Corvette, Two things that don't work the best. The drivers window goes up and down slow. Also headlights go up ok but have to push back down by hand. Are these easy fixes or not? Thank you
The window is probably a bad window regulator. Bit of a pain but not horrible if you take your time. The headlights are operated by a vacuum system, you will be speaking bad words trying to find the problem...

in all seriousness there is a ton of information and some helpful, knowledgable people here and will pitch in answering any questions you have. this is your hot rod. part of the fun is wrenching and working on it.
Suggest you read Richard Prince, C3 buyers guide (think I got the title right).
IMHO, these are relatively small issues along with brake calipers, ect.
There are, however, still big problems to check for in a possible purchase. Check out this book and search the wealth of knowledgeable posts on this forum. Good luck, C3's are just grand!

Those headlight doors are pretty adjustable. I have made all the repairs you mentioned on my 74 and did it myself. There are parts and much advice available.
If you buy the car for a good price, get an Assembly manual for it. If you are a fairly handy guy, have at least a beginners tool set and enjoy having a project and are not using the car as a daily driver, a Vette can be the perfect hobby car.
shoot us a pic and let us know the price. Did he paint it a color you like?
