Default Wheel selection help

Like many here I am having a bit of trouble picking some wheels. I have been going back and forth between TT II's and Boss 338's but I cant seem to find the right dimensions I want. I would like to go with some thing close to 17x8 or 18x8 up front and 17x10 or18x10 in rear, or possibly 17's front 18's rear. I found some Boss 338's I like but I'm not sure about the fitment.

18 x 8 Front wheels
Offset: +2mm, Backspace: 4 1/2"

18 x 9.5" Rear wheels
Offset: -4mm, Backspace: 5"

And I find a lot TTII's and TT M's that are 17x9.5 for rear and 18x9 for fronts. Way too many choices here and I would like to order some and have them waiting for me by the time I get home from this deployment. Anything info I could use to narrow down the search a bit would help. I have a 76 with offset TA's.

Thanks in advance.

What I am running with no problems is a 17X8 4 inch backspace and 255 45 17 rubber in the front. Rears are 18X10 with a 5.5 backspace and 275 40 18 rubber. If you go with a 9.5 rear wheel you can get away with a 5 inch backspace. The stock back space is 4 inches and the stock wheels are 15X8.

I think my main concern is with the rears being in or out too far and not looking right. From the look of your car I think 17 front and 18 rear is the way to go. So that solves one dilemma. I really like the look of the Boss but I am not a fan of spacers.

I like the TTIIs but the Boss wheels are a nice wheel also. The only slight probelm would be the front. You are 1/2 inch in with a 4.5 backspace. Depending on the tire you run these might be OK. At the very worst you would need a 1/2 inch spacer. The rears at 18X9.5 with a 5 inch backspace would be OK. I'm not a fan of spacers either.
