I wanted to change my headlight bulbs in my '69, but I cannot get the bezel off. The lower water sprayer is holding me up. Do I need to remove the lower sprayer nozzle for the bezel comes out, or is there a trick. Thanks....
I don't have these but I can see how this might make them difficult to remove. I take it that everything slides forward a bit but the bottom of the nozzle hits the body opening. You may have to pull that nozzle as mine are hard to remove without it. You could also remove the large headed bolt that holds the two parts together and forms a front hinge. Than you could swing the whole top portion up higher.
Then again I've never done this and maybe there is some trick!!
I ended up removing the lower nozzle. Came out easy. Four new Halogen lights and cleaned up fiberoptics. Never worked so good. Hope she appreciates clean eyes.....
You DO have to remove that sprayer. Is there an upper too? If so, remove it also. Pay close attention to the routing of the hoses that lead to the sprayer. Also, pay close attention to the bezel screws and which one goes into what hole.
