Simpson Racing seatbelts
Does anyone have Simpson 6 or 5 point racing seatbelts in there C3? I would like to put them in my '77 and was wondering if it was possible and how hard it would be. Thanks.

Check with SmokedTires. I believe his are RCI's and he's got a good installation. Might read this thread. I'll call on him for ideas when I get ready to put them in my 71.

Ryan77-Are you looking for something like this? Vetteworks has designed a Harness Bar that installs in C3 Corvettes called the "C3 Bar" for '74 thru '77 Corvette's without any cutting or modifications to the interior. The Vetteworks harness bar will keep you securely in place when Autocrossing and exceeds NHRA standards. It attaches to the existing seat belt anchors and doesn't block access to the rear compartments. The stock seat belt can be used in conjunction with a 5-point harness belt for added security. Part of the harness bar has a bracket where the crotch strap attaches and also mounts a fire extinguisher. The bar is made from 1-1/4" Dia. 4130 Chrome molly steel and 1-1/4"width x 1/4" thick cold roll flat bar and is TIG welded. The harness bar is painted in black urethane.
