felpro 1010 head gaskets

Does anybody run these gaskets?they are for aluminum heads ,pre flattened copper ring. Are these better to run then like the 1003 pre flattens steel ring gaskets? The 1010 cost more money then the 1003,only difference is the pre flattened ring i think. is it that the copper ring makes less brineling or grove impression into the aluminum? what are you guys thoughts on the 1010 felpros?

That is what I have run on a bunch of aluminum headed SB motors. Never had a problem. Not that much more dollars.

Stainless rings in 1003 will leave impresion in aluminum cylinder head deck if used. 1010 will not. I now use MLS gaskets on my builds.

Still running the 1010 gaskets. I have removed the heads plenty of times with no indents from the head gaskets.
