Default washer pump

do i need to remove my master cylinder to get my fluid tank out so i can replace my washer pump or is there some kinda of trick on my 76 thanks

On my 75 looks like it could come out the bottom I was just in there ,but I had bigger fish to fry didn't really look at how it was attached more worried about my stuck hood

On my 79 I had to pull out my cruise control transducer, move the brake lines to the master cylinder and lost some skin and pulled real hard. it was a B. would have been easier to pull the master cylinder though. You have to take the neck off of the bottle and that makes it a lot easier also.

Once you get the pollution junk tank out, & the transducer out, the tank neck out, it will come out one way only, keep turning it until it drops right out. Don't forget to unhook the ground on the transducer & washer pump, It's a good time to clean off all the ground wires that hook to the Bird Cage & the wire from the bird cage to the frame while all this is out. The hardest thing to do on the job will be hooking the speed cable to the dash. Gene
