Default Air Cleaner for '73 vette

Found a air cleaner assembly somewhere else for a whole lot cheaper than a "vette" site. It came off the camaro of the same year. My question is and I need it fast, Will it fit my 350 vette? Looks exactly the same from all of the pictures that I have seen. Let me know very soon, please. Email me at; vagabondslr42@aol.com

A '73 Camaro air cleaner is not even close to looking like a '73 Corvette piece.

It looks like there was an option for a cowl induction air cleaner on early 70's Camaros, but I can see some differences between those and the Corvette one.
Hard to say whether it will work or not.

You might want to join a Camaro forum and ask what type of carburetor those cowl induction cars came with.

There were no cowl induction Camaros built after 1969.

The vette cowl induction air cleaner includes the base, lid, ring, and ring seal that mated to the hood.

Here's a repo of the SB version:

(More often than not, I see this seal incorrectly installed or incorrectly made,..FWIW).

The 73 Camaro air cleaner was a completely enclosed (quieter). The Z-28 version had dual snouts that were about half the length of the snouts of the 73 Vette air cleaner.

The one I took off my '74 has been gathering dust in my garage since my TPI conversion. I don't have any idea what the going rate is for a used one, but I'd be happy to sell you mine for a lot less than the one in the catalog link. PM me if you're interested.

The only cowl induction air cleaner that will work in a 73 Corvette, is the stock 73-75 Corvette unit (though the 75 is slightly different, it can work).

The 67-69 Camaro and 70-72 Chevelle cowl induction air cleaners are a larger diameter than the Corvette.
