Actually, I think that all of the 15" tires have gone to sh-t. I don't think that you can find a 15" Z-rated tire that will fit anymore. I think I got about the last set of Firehawk SZ50, 225/60/15s (and they were on a big close-out discount too).

I can't imagine that many of us have a need for a tire speed rated at 149+mph. Though, I gotta agree, it is pretty slim pickens in the RWL 15" tire size. I guess there is alway Kelsey and Coker tire when it truly all goes away. I will have to start saving now to afford any of those.

You need to recognize that the rating goes with more than just higher speed. A higher rated tire also handles and brakes better.

I agree but I think all of the 15" tires are 1970 or 1980's technology at best. This doesn't bother me because my C3 was bought to be a top down cruiser and not a high performance car, I already have some of those. If I needed higher performance I would bite the bullet and go 17 or 18" though.
