big block rebuild
I have the bottom end of my 454 rebuilt and together block was bored out 20 over and new pistons . Now its time to put the heads on is there any trick to big block heads. Is it as easy as putting on the head gasket put the heads on the block apply sealant to the head bolts and torqh down ?.

sounds right but I would grab a friend to set that chunk of iron in place!!!
PS. make sure the engine stand is tight. You don't want it spinning on you when you set that head down. Ask me how I know
