Default Altternator wiring Question

I've made a wiring harnes to run my engine, 1971 (350), on the frame, without the body. As this is not rocket science, I do not know where to connect the two wires that come out of the top of the alternator' and it won't charge unless hooked up. Has anyone done this, or can anyone tell me how to wire it?

Thanks,

Dean

Here is a simple setup that will operate your alt, when you attach it the little light will be on but should turn off when the engine starts.

Default Alt. Wiring

Hey Roger,

Thanks for the reply. Looks too simple, but then, I do tend to overthink everything Humm, wonder why the Vette Isn't done yet. Got some recent pics up on my "71 Body Off" thread, I'm sure they will look very familure to you! So I decided to go with an aluminum radiator, and electric fanns. Got the Rad. from DeWitts W/temp switch installed. Went out to Pic-N-Pull and grabbed a double fan setup from a Concord, a set of 3 30 Amp relays, W/30 Amp fuse from something, a little rewiring from a diagram I found on another forum, and Wala. Now I just need to get some metal bent for mounting the fans to the Rad., pretty cool project I'll post pics when all is mounted

All for now,

Dean
