Default Help on installing Electric fan kit

Background: I have a 76 vette and have a aluminum radiator with two fans on the way..I want to purchase a fan install kit that will monitor the engine temp. My question is where do I put the thermostat, since the vette is already using one to monitor engine temp and sending it to the gage panel. Is their another place on a small block 350 (L-48) for the 3/8" brass probe that will accurately read engine temp? All help appreciated......

Regards,
Ron

I put mine on top of the water pump, only open hole I could find. There was a plug in the hole before. I didn’t care for the looks at the time and planned on moving it but never did. One think I like about having it there is the wires are easy to route and aren’t near the block. Dual spals have worked great for 2 years now.

I used a thermostat housing with a hole threaded in the top. Works well.
