Default Exhaust questions

I plan on upgrading the engine in my 79, which currently has an LS 48. I'm only looking to get about 300 - 350 hp out of it and want to keep as much original stuff as I can, including the exhaust manifolds. Currently, the exhaust system needs to be replaced, and I'd like to determine the best options.

First, will the stock exhaust manifolds provide sufficient flow for that hp rating? Second, if I convert over to a true dual system, is there only one hanger that's needed (I have the Borg-Warner 4-speed)? I've looked through the vendor sites and cannot seem to find a rear hanger for dual applications.

If I decide to make the conversion, are there other things, such as the parking brake cable, that need to also be changed. It looks like my parking brake cable may be in the way, but that could also be because it is stretched out and needs replacing too.

Should I use the 74 exhaust system to convert? Finally, are there any back pressure issues I should be concerned about? I plan on using the stock mufflers, as nothing apprears to be wrong with them, but the catalytic converter will obviously be missing. Thanks.
