I was researching brake lines from various vendors and noticed that the front to rear brake line is shipped with a bend in it. I'm assuming you don't straighten the new line out over your knee, so what it the best way to straighten the new line before installation? Thanks.
Most of the vendors bend them 180°'s around a "rim", so the bend really isn't that difficult to "un-bend".
I ordered mine from Paragon and asked to pick them up at Carlisle and they carried them to the event so I wouldn't have to deal with the "bending". Having said that, don't be surprised if you have to do some minor bending regardless. Many of these lines have traveled a bit before they even reach the vendor.
