Window polishing
My windshield in my 81 looks great due to me allowing my drop light to fall from the ceiling and falling directly in the center of it. (SMASH) I had it replaced! But my question is how do I polish the drivers & passenger side windows without replacing them?

There are some products sold by Eastwoods that will remove water marks, cloudiness and even tiny scratches. It is put on wet and polished with a felt buffing wheel. It is messy and takes a long time to do, but it will work. You can do pretty good with a poor-boy substitute Bon Ami or Bartender's Friend scouring powder and a wet sponge will do a decent job. You can even use a buffing wheel with the stuff.
Many detailing shops use this stuff to clean up windows.
Then you can use Glass-wax brand polish as a final step. This won't give you a completely new looking glass, but it will improve the looks a great deal.

In my experience I've used the polishing compound/buffing wheel routinue to touch up a few spots on my glass but if you have anything that you can get a fingernail to hang on it or has an edge the polishing/buffing probably won't get u much improvement. :chevy Save The Wave!!! :cheers:
