Default what to buy?

i currently have a 76 all stock and wanted to eventually stroke it, can i get an intake manifold and carb now that will be good for when i do?

If it were me, I'd decide on a plan as to what kind of build to do. Be as specific as you can about what kind of engine you want to build, like power level, CI., heads, cam, intake, exhaust. Then save up and do it all at once. You can piece together parts now, but you will just end up doing things twice, at twice the cost. Just keep researching and saving till you can do it all at once.

If you have a numbers matching engine you may want to put it away.
A 350/383 block is pretty much only worth the machine work done to it.
I just found this out the hard way. Means that you can buy a clearanced 030 overbore block for the price of the machinework.
