Default Intermittent Pulse Windshield Wiper Control Module - NOW AVAILABLE!

Hey Guys: If you've been looking for a pulse wiper (intermittent wiper) control module for your 78-82 Corvette, Lectric Limited www.lectriclimited.com will be coming out with one in May 2011!

These modules have been very hard to find and are currently very expensive if you can find one.

Here's the info. http://www.lectriclimited.com/new_products.htm

I've got mine on order!!!

This is great news. One forum member is very good at fixing these but there were no other options and they were still unpredictable. Nice to see that Lectric Limited stepped up.

If you don't mind me asking, how much are they?

Where is the module located?

Site says when the module fails, wipers won't work at all. The intermittant feature has not worked on my 82 since 1997 when I bought it, but the wipers do work. Something else wrong?

I just press the switch down and it will do a single wipe when I need intermittant.

Check the AIM, but I believe it is located in front of the jack storage compartment.

Mike is correct. It's located in the front of the jack storage compartment.

Lectric Limited sells a device that plugs into the intermittent controller plug that bypasses it. Eliminates the intermittent function but at least your wipers work. You may well have one o these.

Its model year dependent. In 78, it hangs off the fuse block but sounds like by 82, it was located in the rear compartment. And as suggested, check your AIM.

Got mine today. I have the original if anyone is looking for $50.00 plus shipping. Don't know if this is the windshield wiper problem or not yet (have not checked/cleaned switch), but liked the idea of the upgrade and no circuit board. Burn mark where the purple wire attaches to the circuit board. If interested, let me know. I would post a pic if I knew how, but don't.
