Have heard rumblings ... that some IK's had VS seals on only intakes ... head foreground in above pic seems to have em on both.
When I heard such complaints ... I wondered if the heads in question had been assembled by Brodix itself; plenty sources selling afr, brodix, dart etc but assembled by independant shop.

Please detail what you heard? I bought these heads 4 years ago.

I installed a set of IK 180 on my small block and instantly had smoking at a warm restart. I spoke with a Brodix tech and he said they do not put valve seals on exhaust side unless customer requested it. They sent me the seals and I put them in. No more smoke.
The IK 200's in the Pic were machined By Brodix to use Teflon seals.
Specifically these:
Valve Stem Seal, Teflon®, Positive Stop, 0.530 in. Guide, 11/32 in. Val
ve Stem.
Ive run this engine 30K miles , No oil use, no problems so far. When I rebuild the Heads I will use the teflons again because the head was set up for them. Otherwise I would Look at the Viton type.
It can be tricky to install perfect circle style seals , in the case of the Brodix IK 200's , the machining is set up for using PC and the seals function correctly. This would Not be the case if a shop decided to use PC style seals on a generic head. If they dont machine the height clearance for the seal correctly the Seal will be crushed during the first engine rotations.
