Scattershield ballstud
I have a Lakewood scattershield that I am going to install... What ballstud do I use now? Ive heard the adjustable ones can be a pain, and some have mentioned a factory Pontiac ballstud?

All Vettes came equipped with bent cone diaphram springs and a short clutch ball stud is always used with this clutch.

I only mentioned Pontiac long pivot ball stud in the past because the same part with the Chevy corvette part number is magically higher priced I got the GM tall for like $13 at the dealer parts counter. I bought an adjustable from Summit and it was like $47 and they wanted you to set it up and then saw off the extra length of the hardened bolt
