stock stall speed is?
been reading and trying to decide on a stall speed for a converter. Question is, what is the stock stall speed? all the numbers mean nothing to me without a base number.

This can be trickey, but the 1300 rpm "C3 Stroker" mentioned sound's about right for the engine torque/curb weight you're working with. If running a fairly low rpm torquey street engine, best keeping thing's maybe 500 within stock, or could feel like an unresponsive slusher around town. If a 7500 rpm strip build, then a whole nother story, but don't expect much satisfaction for street cruising.
