Window Regulator Spring Question
Hello,
I have a 1972 base model (no power windows). I pulled the door panel this weekend to adjust the window alignment, and found that the coil spring on the regulator had cracked and was broken. My confusion comes in that when I search all of the parts vendors for the spring, they only list the spring as part of the power window regulator. I have searched the forums, and find that all discussion is abound power window regulators. Is this spring supposed to be/required on a "manual" window system? Thank you for advice.
