The weather finally cooperated and she's back on the road! Ran great today and I am just about to take her out for an evening spin.
When I first backed her out of the garage, I had a little unpleasant surprise when there was about 2 oz of transmission fluid on the floor. After some checking it appeared it came from the tranny vent and I am hoping I just over filled it last fall - the level looks good.
Anyhow, now that I see the car again - all the little things that need doing have begun their annual pull on my attention. It's like having another wife!
Greetings and Ditto. we're about 30 minutes from each other so I know what you mean. Was a beautiful day and a long time coming.
I went out at 6am and washed and waxed both of em'. I then cleaned the entire garage, under the deck, and shed and still had time for a cruise to the mountains int eh afternoon. Was a good day:

Its a great feeling isn't it?
I just pulled mine out last night. I went for a short ride around the block, and gave it a bath.
I also drove it to work today.

John, I'm glad to see you're out and about with your vette. I'm trying to figure out between Joe and I who will have their car off the jackstands and on the road first. SeeYa, Rod

See, I kind of cheated... I may be on the road first, but later this week when I order my rear spring...
That's not funny ;) . Actually it was 80F today; bizarre for this neck of the woods. The pic is from just three weeks ago. That is why Corvettes are stored.
