Default strange turn signal problem

Ive been having some problems with my turn signals, they have never worked right since ive had the car. So ive changed two flashers one for hazard and the other one on the passenger side for the turn signals. Now at least my turn signals and brake lights work perfect and so does the hazards, BUT when i turn the headlights on i get a solid left turn signal indication in the cluster, a solid left turn signal on in the front, my drivers side tail light comes on but my passenger side brake light stays solid without hitting the brakes. When i hit the brakes my drivers side brake light will come on that way too. If i move the signal lever to the left my passenger brake light comes on solid, lever to the right, nothing happens. I have turned upside down and layed on my back in the seat to get my face right on top of the fuse box and checked with a flashlight, replaced the few bad ones in there.

Like i said all the flashers and brake lights work perfectly as long as the lights arent on, I turn the lights on and everything goes haywire as described above. I replaced two bulbs that were oddly just hanging from the sockets and corroded. Oh the backup lights work fine both ways. I hope ive given enough info here, im hoping it might be something silly and i wont have to go on an easter egg hunt

I would concentrate on two things. First would be grounds. Bad grounds on any socket can cause all grades of funny things to happen when the voltage seeks a good ground. The other would be voltage crossing circuits. That would most likely occur in this case, from the symptoms, in the front park signal lamp sockets or the associated wiring. That would include the turn switch too. The front lamps and the dash indicators are in the same circuit together.

I am going to guess a bad ground on the drivers rear lamp.

When I see the turn indicators come on in the dash when the headlights are on I usually find bad grounds in the front turn/park sockets.
Try removing the 2 front side marker bulbs until you get this sorted out,(this will remove the confusing "tie" between turn signal and parking light circuits.)

Good advice, my rear passenger bulb socket is corroded and my front passenger socket also corroded since both of them had been hanging for several years, I will try replacing those 2 sockets and use 4 fresh lights, notice a difference in brightness from the old bulbs and the new ones I got at the auto parts store

So I should look at voltage crossing circuits specifically that come on with the headlights?

The factory built in cross circuit is the front side marker bulbs, the side markers don't have ground wires so the turn circuit rely's on the headlight circuit to light the bulb and vice versa.

Ok i think im starting to get it now... but i cant find the headlight relay associated with the turn signals like you said so far in my wiring diagram. Havent had a chance yet to go disconnect the parking lights like you said and check with that taken out of the system
