Default RE; Repainting hood
Hi,

I have chemically stripped my hood down to the gel coat. nutrilized the stripper. I have a few ding/dents I need to fill. Do I fill now and what would be the best filler to use. Used a plastic scrapper but still made some small scratches and dents

OK first, WHAT YEAR?" If its the `81, then you need to use a SMC compatible material. If its just cosmetics, the good polyester material will suffice, but epoxy compounds are better.

It's actually an 82 hood, I am using on my 81.
