Tires for 1975 vette

I know 225/70 x 15 is standard but ould you and would you put wider on rear with stock front ?

BFGoodrich TA -- any other brand of reasonably priced tire ?

The 255 60 15 was optional on the later C3 cars and fits very well.

I was not sure that 60's would not rub so I went with 235-70 in front and 255-60 in the rear.

I've been running 245/60-15's on front and back for years. Never any problem rubbing.

I've got 245-60-15 up front and 275-60-15 in the rear, no problems at all. I'm using the Cooper Cobra's

in 79 the factory , took a file and saw cut the inside egde corner off. I had a brand new 79 vette with eagle 255's from the factory with GYMkhana sus, and they came like that trimmed factory. Not very professional , it was halfAZZ if you asked me. But, it worked.

I like the 255 eagle GT's alot. But I have TA radials now 60245 I think
