Stupid, stupid stupid
I swear, I could kill myself sometimes. Today we were trying to get into a normally closed off area at school for a display where most of the students go by. At the point where this brickyard meets the road, they have some posts that are normally up. They put them down for me but were still pretty big, we tried judging it and thought the car could clear. Not so. Inch forward, and BAM, hit the exhaust pipe and tore the drivers side manifold loose. Oh was I pissed. :mad Never listen to those d*mn maintenance people again, I knew I should have insisted on a ramp to get over those. Now I just have to wait and fork over however much it's gonna run me this time. Just one of those days I guess...

heck yea it did! but i usually prefer that kind of noise to come out the *back* of the car. smelled real good too :U

i did just about the same thing last week with my sidepipes. I was coming out of the bank and scraped them on the curb. I felt like an idiot and it bent teh header flange which i still havent fixed. i tried using 2 gaskets and that still didnt fix the leak im going ot have to take the whole damn thing apart this week and try and bend it back. :mad :mad :mad
